hall camp is over! :)

it was overall a very fun camp. we had really great games, great cheers, great mass dances and also great leaders! :) since hall camp had approximately equal number of guys and girls we played many many body part games :x i "kissed" 2 guys during those food passing games coz the food they passed were so small?! hahaha.

one big difference between hall camp and sbs camp was that during sbs camp we ran alot but we had sufficient sleep whereas in hall camp, everything was slow and steady but as a result all our activities had to end so late and we slept an average of 2 hrs every night. so most of the time we were playing games like a zombie :P especially night games..

the fright night was really good. i was really scared! but i didn't cry :) i didn't wear my contacts that night so i could only figure out shapes and colours :x nonetheless it was still a great scare. thank you kenneth for being there for me to cling on! :P

the entire camp was dirty (10 times worse than sbs camp), wet with loads of fun :) i actually had to throw away one of my t-shirts coz it was beyond hope! mud + flour + baby powder + water. arghs..

the camp got kinda stressful for me coz the seniors actually dragged me away from my OG discreetly twice on separate occasions and i was supposed to keep that and whatever they told me as a secret. once was to interview me for the hall pageant and once was to tell me i was in for a hokkien debate. like omg hokkien debate? my hokkien is like one quarter pail of water only can.. haha. it was a junior vs senior debate and it was hall 4's culture. the seniors invited professors, alumni, all the jcrc members as well as everyone in the camp to watch it. arghs.. me and my team mate were so stressed that we mugged 7 hrs for the debate.. preparing our speech as well as translating it into hokkien. it was supposed to be a surprise programme for the freshies so i had to keep it a secret and cheated my og mates that i wasn't able to join them coz i had something on :x however the debate didn't turn out like a debate at all! the seniors were all out to sabo us.. the debate turned out like a comedy.. and whatever we said they would make fun out of it etc etc to entertain the crowd.. haha. so each of us didn't even complete a third of what we had prepared to say.. :x




the good things that came out of all the stress were

1) i made good friends from my debating team! jovin, jason and yong huat :D we had loads of fun and laughter while preparing for our scripts.. hokkien is a really fun language! :))

2) i won the best speaker award for the hokkien debate! (though i didn't think i spoke well at all)

3) i'm in for hall pageant so please come to hall 4 dinner and dance to support us ya? :)




SP night last night at mount faber was romantic! it marked a wonderful ending to our camp :)
